Where do you have ideas? And how many implemented ideas will survive? Ideas done? Claude Michaud, ESSAIM of APRES-GE, Geneva

Claude Michaud, responsible for the incubator ESSAIM of APRES-GE, Geneva, answered to the question in French: “What percentage of ideas are actually carried out in your company?”. Being very creative and entrepreneur he carries out 3%. He tells us he created 4 companies, one is still working after 30 years and one crashed. By the way, breakfast is a good moment for ideas. And there are other places, too.

The complete name is “Chambre de l’économie sociale et  solidaire APRES-GE“.

Interview made after the conference “Business Model Generation” (Get the great book!), Wednesday 2 December 2009, Hôtel Alpha-Palmiers, Lausanne. The speakers were Alexander Osterwalder (his blog here), Dr. HEC Information Systems, and Yves Pigneur, director of the Institute for Information Systems, Lausanne, of the University of Lausanne (UNIL), authors of the book Business Model Generation.
