Will the chance grow that an idea is successful if you begin with as many ideas as possible? Ideas done? by Christian Miccio, Google Switzerland, Zurich

Christian Miccio, product manager, Google Switzerland in Zurich, answered to the question in French: “What percentage of ideas are actually carried out?”. He says it’s very difficult to define but, in general, it is probably only a few percentage points. You may have many ideas, but not all are developed. Some ideas you developed will get financed. Not all financed ideas will work, and finally, only very very few will be successful. It’s just like start up companies.

(By the way, this is his personal opinion and not an official Google statement.)
Interview made at Lift at Home (created by Lift conference,) 19 January 2010. Next Lift10, Geneva, 5-7 May 2010.
